CORRY WHEEL CUTTING ENGINE

An early version of this well know wheel cutter made by Bio Med engineering. This one has a single cutting frame with a standard 7mm cutting spindle that will take Thornton cutters, it also has a fly cutting spindle ( not shown ). The machine is powered by a Westinghouse 240 volt single phase motor with correct pulley set on its spindle. The center boss of the machine is 2MT with a Myford nose thread so Myford collets and chucks can be used this wheel cutting engine will cut large wheels. The machine has some very light staining in its main body but otherwise is in very excellent mechanical condition. wheel counts are shown in the last picture. Because of its size and weight it will be collection only, but could bring it to the next Birmingham Clock and Watch fair. Please call if you need any further information.
