This is a used example of this rarely seen accessory but in excellent condition with no wear or damage to the Carbide  beds or burnishing wheel. This is used with an 8mm lathe and is driven by a round cord belt at 4-6 R/P SEC as shown on the drum. A reversed center is fitted to the tailstock of the lathe to support the pinion, oil is applied to the wheel to lubricate the process. Spare wheels can be obtained from Cousins of different grades. I know of to clock makers who use them and they say the speed the process up and produce an excellent finish. Please call if you require any further information.
