This is a rare long bed 102 running a W25 collet spindle and back geared headstock, Build no:- 302268 type 102N80 the machine is 3 phase with a 2 speed motor giving a total of24 speeds. The lathe features a knee reversing switch and a deadstop clutch and brake to allow the removal of parts when using the quick close draw bar. A belt lifter is fitted to change speeds without taking the covers of the motor compartment. This lathe is one of the smoothest and noiseless I have encountered due to the large three phase balancing transformer mounted in the switching compartment. This is a heavy piece of kit and will need to be picked up with a HIAB or a tail lift with at least 1 ton capacity to be on the safe side, we may be able to help on this as we know a company that is local to us who would have no problem in moving it.
