OVERBECK HIGH PRECISION DRILL
This German built high precision drill is designed for small hole drilling and operates with automatic down feed that is controlled by the lever on the left hand side of the machine. The drill is powered by .2 kw mains motor, a speed controller could be fitted such as an inverter or a variac . The Albrecht keyless Chuck has a capacity of 1.5 mm. The 4″ round table is lipped to return coolant or cutting fluid to an in built tank that has a plunger pump ( left hand side) That delivers a small amount to the drill and work piece if required. The table can raised and locked into position to suit the work application. The down feed can be controlled by a knurled wheel at the top left of the head casting. This is possibly the best high precision drill I have seen for a very long time. This machine weighs in at 30.6 kilos so needs a good base !
