LORCH LLV HIGH PRECISION CENTER LATHE

An very clean example of this well know lathe, used the world over by clock makers, instrument makers and model engineers who require accuracy all the time. This one has a mark in the inside of the bed ways but has no effect  on the accuracy of the lathe. It is an Imperial model and is powered by the original three phase motor with counter shaft but is fitted with a Drives Direct IMO inverter with veriable speed control giving good torque using the pulleys on the counter shaft. The inventory is as follows:-

•  Kolpfer 3 Jaw chuck ( no outside jaws )
• Fixed steady
• New belts
• 2 metric collets .5 & 1.5
• 17 imperial collets from 1/64 to 5/16
• 2 Tail stock dead centers
• 1 Head stock dead center
• 1 Live center
• Jacobs 0-3/8 Tail stock Chuck
• 1 Arbour
• 1 Drill plate

The collets are all housed in the purpose built box ( Very well made ). all the crosslide screws are in very good condition with very little backlash, no bent or repaired handles, a few little marks on the bed but would be expected in a lathe that was built in 1975.
