PULTRA 10 8mm WATCHMAKERS LATHE
A very well equipped example of this very popular lathe that would be ideal for a student or professional watch or clockmaker or model engineer. Interestingly it has had the paint stripped from it and nickle plated so imperfections in the castings show through which would be hidden if painted. we have overhauled the lathe and the headstock bearings are in excellent condition, The crosslide is not Pultra but a standard Geneva pattern and bears no makers mark but also is in excellent condition. Two things that you rarely find with this model is the mandrel face plate with pump center and the drop bracket and pivot plate with pivot drill holders, sadly no Jacot drum. Whilst the motor and speed controller work we would recommend changing to a variable DC drive and controller which we would provide details to the new owner. Built in Britain Built to Last™
