SCHAUBLIN 70 PRECISION BENCH LATHE
This model is the plain bearing version of this iconic bench lathe, used the world over by Horologists top class model makers and craftsmen who understand superior quality and engineering excellance. we are selling this one on behalf of a client. Powered by a three phase motor with a 240 volt single phase mains invertor and remote pendant controller giving forward, reverse and speed control. The three pullys giving a further range of speed options. The headstock bearing are in fine order, the bed has been reground at some stage and the lathe has been repainted at some stage. The crosslide is of the older curved pattern as is the tailstock both have metric graduations. Ity comes with 18 boxed metric collets from 1mm -9.5mm in .5 steps ther are also 4 imperial collets 1/16 , 1/8 , 3/16, 5/16 there are few other used collets included. There is an Albrecht precision tailstock chuck (0 – 6.5 mm ) A swiss JF 3 jaw scroll chuck a pratt Burnerd 4 jaw chuck a spare chuck back plate. Mandrel Nose protector ring. A home constructed quick action tool post made in brass with 5 blank tool blocks. Spare 2 degree taistock arbour.
