SIXIS 103 VERTICAL HORIZONTAL MILL

SIX103 VERTICAL HORIZONTAL MILL

SIXIS 103 VERTICAL HORIZONTAL MILL

A good clean example of this well know Swiss Tool Room mill. This one has a 30 international taper and comes with a good selection of tooling and the cabinet that holds them. This is another machine from Maurice Clark`s workshop which we a re selling on behalf of the executors. There is some slight rust to the top of arbor support arms but this is easily removed. The mill is equipped with 2 axis DRO, the inverter drives are housed in the wall mounted cabinet to the right of the machine. The main motor is running, but there may be a fault with one of the inverter drives to the other motor, because of this it has been decided to reduce the price to allow for a replacement unit if needed.  The mill comes with a very rare Schaublin vice that is swivel mounted but the body can be rotated and is indexable. The table is unmarked so was looked after during its life. It comes with the following accessories:-

  • Clarkson auto lock milling chuck
  • Drilling chuck
  • Horizontal milling arbor
  • 2 Morse adapter
  • ER collet holder
  • Milling cuttters
  • End mills
  • Tray of T bolts and clamps
  • Packing blocks
  • Tools and C spanners
  • Grease gun
  • Cabinet

Overall good value for any workshop and Swiss quality is always built to last. This is a heavy machine and will require the right transport and removal from the workshop that is down In Cornwall. This Mill is bought as seen. I will be happy to provide any further information regarding the Sixis, For other pictures if you go to Lathes.co it is the same machine featured in the photo essay.
