This well know and early version of the forerunner of the B C A needs a good clean but is otherwise in very good condition. It comes with the  counter weighted belt tensioner system. A geared speed reduction unit drives a three speed pulley and with the same number on the spindle gives 9 speeds. The head can be tilted from the vertical to 30 degrees both ways. The machine is imperial, has a 400 – 440 volt three phase 1/4 HP  motor running at 2800 RPM. This would be suited to inverter drive to give good variable speed control. This would make a valuable addition to any horologists or small model makers workshop. BUILT IN BRITAIN BUILT TO LAST.
