PULTRA 1750 with rising BLOCKS
This is an exceptionally well equipped model, ex REME hence the colour scheme of off white and brown, could do with a re-paint. We believe that this had very little use if any. The bed although slightly stained has no marks on the bed this goes for the crosslide as well as most of the surfaces still had the protective grease on them. The headstock bearings have no wear. The crosslide has no wear on the slides and no backlash on the screws. The 40mm rising blocks take the center height to 1790 which gives plenty of scope for larger work. This does not have the clutched mardrive unit but has a 1/2 HP brook Crompton mains motor cont rated at 1425 rpm, this is mounted on the normal base plate and has the 2 counter shafts for speed variation. The collets as far as we can see still have the protective grease on the threads and have had no use. They are duplicated for some reason so there are 20 sizes. Inventory as follows:-
- 41 collets from .4 mm – 7.5mm
