B.T.M WATCHMAKERS LATHE 8mm
This outstanding example (No414 Mk 1) was built and tested at the Royal Ordanance Factory Burnley in Ocober 1948 and supplied to distrubutor EH Jones Ltd in London. This one has been used but is stunning condition, We have checked and cleaned the headstock bearings which show no signs of wear. Can be used as a set of turns as it has a second tailstock that can be mounted in the foot instead of the headstock. Comes with the following inventory of Kit:-
- Crosslide
- Toolrest with two rest
- 19 8mm collets .02 – 3.2
- 5 Ring step chucks
- 3 Jaw reversable Burnard chuck
- 2 Runners
- 2 Tubes of centers
- Second tailstock ( for Turns )
- Turns drive wheel and dog large & small
- Box chuck
- Drop Bed
This would be ideal for a student or professional model maker and will give long and accurate service, included is the original test certificate. we will supply a small motor with the lathe.
