CRAFTSMAN BUILT WHEEL CUTTING ENGINE

Made to a very high standard this engine is larger than the Chronos engine so will take larger wheels. No pinion gallows  fitted but could easily be made and added latter. This is of heavier construction and is very similar to the Boyle engine. The division plate is double sided and has 28 counts that can be sub divided to accommodate  most requirements for wheels. Comes with 6 arbors and sets of plates for wheel blank supports. The ball bearing spindle has a 7mm spigot for standard Thornton cutters and can be moved for centering. The spring return arm is fitted with a depth stop. The detent arm is fitted with an adjusting screw so the wheel blank can be moved for alignment. Powered by a 240 volt single phase motor that can be moved to align the belt pulley when mounted on a board, new belting will be provided. This will be collection only or can be picked up at the next clock and watch fair at Birmingham. Please call for any further information.
