Finding a drilling tailstock for any 6 or 8mm lathe is always a problem. We have been making these for some time in response to requests from clients. The unit is made from silver steel and machined with a J0 taper to take a small drill chuck. The diameter of the bar starts at 6.5mm and goes up in .5mm increments to 8mm and 1/4 for IME lathes, we can make other sizes on request. The standard chuck we supply has a capacity of .4mm to 4mm and should cover most requirements other chucks can be used. The one shown is fitted to a Boley and leinen 8mm Reform tailstock.
