VERTICAL WHEEL AND MILLING ATTACHMENT

An unusual and versatile wheel cutting and very light milling attachment that would be most suited on WW pattern lathe beds. Fitted with a small arbour to take 4.5mm bore wheel cutters, this can be removed and others made to hold other cutters of smaller or larger bore. The unit is attached to the lathe bed or crosslide through the 8mm slotted bracket, this holds the vertical post which is positioned and locked in place by the hexagonal nut at its base. The cutting head can be moved up and down by the knurled wheele at the top of the head and locked by a cheese head screw on the side of the casting. Power is transmitted through a three step pulley an then by bevel gears to the cutting spindle. There is very little wear on the spindle`s and the overall condition is very good. Footprint is 80mm X 50mm X 100mm high,there is no makers mark on the unit. Please call if you require any further information.
