ASTRA VERTICAL HORIZONTAL MILL
A very clean and unmarked example of this now seldom seen versatile miller. This solid and robust imperial machine has seen little use and would suit a smaller workshop with it`s stand footprint of 19 1/2″ X 25″and a height of 56″. Powered by a 240 volt single phase reversible motor with 4 available speeds. The table size is 4 3/4″ X 16 3/4″ with movement of 8 1/2″ X 4″. Light under the vertical head is 8″. The table has a fast traverse handle that can be disengaged when the hand-wheel feed is used . Both the spindles are 2 Morse and comes with 2 milling cutter holders ( 1/4″ and 3/8 ) for the vertical head and the correct 1″ arbor for the horizontal spindle. We will also supply a selection of slitting saws, milling cutters as well as an assortment of end mills a table vice and drill chuck to suit this machine. Ideal for a model maker or restore who has limited space. Buyer collects or arranges collection we can Pallet at cost.
