BOLEY & LEINEN WW PATTERN 8 MM LATHE
This early Boley and Leinen ww pattern lathe follows the American style single foot models. This has seen long service and cosmeticaly it shows it. It would benifit from a strip down and a good cleaning. It comes well equiped with the following :-
- 27 8mm collets from .3 – 5.8mm
- 3 Jaw reversable scroll chuck
- Crosslide and tool post
- Box chuck
- “Safe pully`s” large and small
- Turns pully and centers
- 23 small brass collets
- 7 wax chucks and collet holder
- single roller rest
- tip over tool rest and 2 rest`s
- set fo 5 ring chucks
- Copper lap
- Drill chuck
- Saw table
- 2 Glass tubes of male and female centers
- 3 small lantern holders
- 23 rose cutters
- 22 sinkers
- grinding wheel / slit saw arbour
- tailstock holder for sinkers and rose cutters
- The above also holds the brass collets.
The lathe would be mounted straight on to a bench with a single long stud and wing nut ( noy shown ) the mounting block is not included. There was no box when we obtained this lathe only what was left of the wooden board that holds the equipment. Not the best we have seen but will still do a “turn” would suit a student or fine model maker. The combined weight of the itmes is 8 kilos so it could be sent UK only Royal Mail Special Delivery for £35 .00 inc packing, or buyer collects or arranged collection.
