An Industrial quality wheel cutting engine, alas no Pinion Gallows with this one But could easily be made if reqiured. Built originally by  Bio – Med engineering Ltd they incorporated a Myford vertical slide to carry the cutting frames and Spindles This one comes with two frames for fly cutters and a ball bearing spindle carrying a 1 Morse taper blank machined to take Thornton cutters. There are 24 counts available from 30 to 300 and the detent finger has a fine adjustment so the count disc can be moved. The wheel holder has a standard Myford thread so chucks can be directely mounted on to the nose which has a 2 Morse taper so other arbours can be machined to take any size wheel  centre. this one comes with 10 Myford imperial collets from 1/16″ -1/2″. The sliding head can be moved back by the two clamping bolts on the vertical slide and with the movment available in the topslide large wheels of up to 14″ can be cut. The footprint needed for this engine will need to be 24″ X12″ this does not include mounting the motor which is a 1/4HP single phase 240 volt mains. A countershaft is included. This machine is heavy and would Idealy suit a large repair shop or proffesional model shop. Please call for any further information and Price.
