A very well built example of this popular drill which is firm favorite with horologists and model makers . The footprint of this machine is 375mm X 290mm and 420mm high. The quill travel is 24mm and is fitted with a Jacobs N0 chuck  which will take up 5/32 drills.  The diameter of the table 157mm and can be rotated and of set from the central piller. The drilling head and motor (240 volt single phase) can also be moved vertically and horizontally. There is a holder for square punches for marking out mounted on the top of the piller. the center piece can be changed and I have seen small pin vices mounted up so tapping operations can take place. Full us of this versatile drill can be found in Geo Thomas`s book. The motor is mounted with a 2 speed pully and runs well. Buyer collects or arrages collection. The weight of the drill is 12.9 kilos. Made in Britain Built to Last™
