SCHAUBLIN 13 UNIVERSAL MILL
A 1958 example of this versatile machine found in nearly every decent toolroom of the time. A very easy machine to use and set up, comes with a large range of equipment as can be seen from the pictures. The machine is three phase and has variable speed through a variator with a high and low range gear box. The machine also has a rapid traverse on vertical and horizontal axis. It has 10 feed rates from 12-400 mm/min. The dividing head with plates takes w20 collets and can be coupled to a gear box allowing a spiral milling function. (a very rare accessory ) The spindles are 30 international and comes with a good range of tooling including boring head face cutters etc as well as both tables, high speed vertical head, rotary table machine vice, arbors, collets , a 2 axis DRO ( an American Westec) This machine can do serious accurate work.
