J.M.WILD WHEEL CUTTING & MILLING SPINDLE
This sets the standard for wheel cutting and milling spindles. Built to a very high standard with pre – loaded bearings and heavy duty construction they give years of service. It will fit straight on to the Myford vertical slide with the aid of extended T bolts, but will be able to fit to most Lathes or wheel cutting engines such as the Corry. The spindle is 1 Morse and arbours are retained with a draw bar. The Cast Iron fly wheel keeps cutting momentum for a good finish. The best book to read on the subject is Wheel and Pinion Cutting in Horology by J Malcolm Wild.
