PROXON MILL DRILL SYSTEM
This system is derived from 3 separate units that are combined to form a very compact and versatile machine that would suit a model makers or horologist`s workshop. The 200 x 200 mm sqaure X Y table has 150 x 150 mm movement and is bolted directly to the stand base.The motor unit is clamped in the stand and can be tilted through 90 degrees so it can be used in the horizontal position. It has a generous stroke of 65 mm through geared rack and pinion drive with depth scale and precision depth stop and fine feed a selectable option. The power unit is rated at 250 watts and has a variable speed range of 900 – 6000 rpm , this one has a three jaw chuck fitted as well as six collets. This came from a clock maker of considerable skill and has been mainly used for brass and wood operations. Built to Proxon`s very high standard this is in very good condition and represents good value and its compact footprint makes it ideal for the smaller workshop.
