SCHAUBLIN 102- 80 PLAIN LATHE
This 1956 model Bl 92430 FAB 149 has a plain bearing W20 headstock and was used exclusively for the restoration of clocks and instruments, we are selling this on behalf of one of our customers and considering its age is in very good condition, would benifit with a repaint! It comes with a good selection of collets from .5mm to 15.5mm in .5 steps a 4″Burnard grip true chuck (no reverse jaws but easy to replace) male and female centers. All dial graduations are Metric. Overhead drive with motor, a two position vertical slide with reduction geared spindle that takes w12 collets complete with draw bar, so ideal for gear and pinion cutting. A jacobs three jaw tailstock chuck, hand tool rest. Powered by a three phase two speed motor (complete with mains three phase converter) giving a total of twelve speeds. This is mounted on the heavy free standing base We estimate the weight to be 3/4 ton so pick up with the correct transport is essentail we can load if required.
