ACIERA F12 UNIVERSAL PRECISION MILLING MACHINE.
Here we have an incomplete example of this forerunner of the iconic F1. Despite it`s unkempt appearance underneath the grime and staining is a very useful basis for an accurate horizontal miller. There is little wear in the slides and the handles and the leadscrews are not bent. The spindle (35mm) we think was added to the machine as it is not original, it is a very tight fit in the head and will require some easing out, a suitable drive system will have to be rigged up as no motor was fitted to the spindle. The spindle bore is 10mm so will take either the SV70 collet or a 10mm Pultra collet sadly non came with this machine. The swivel support table we think was added as it appears of a latter pattern and is likely to have come from an F1. This is a heavy piece of kit so collection only. Please call us if you require any further information this is bought as seen so it will be cash on collection after inspection.
